About

I believe good manners do you the world of good, and costs you nothing. This was something my lovely mother drilled into my head when I was a child. Low and behold it stuck in there. I pride myself on being reliable, polite and courteous.  Attributes which guarantee that I can believer a professional service at all times.

Remember, I work for you. I will personalise my setup to suit your needs and the needs of the venue. I always recommend a pre-event meeting. Here we can go over any ideas and discuss all your needs. It also means you get to meet me before the event, therefore be more comfortable coming to speak to me during the event.

You can always contact me through the web, e-mail, Facebook or phone; and I reply to all messages as soon as possible. Say you’re listening to the radio and hear a song you really want played at your event. Don’t worry about forgetting it; just drop me a message, let me know and I’ll take care of the rest.

I am happy to accept your play lists and take guests requests, if suitable for the occasion.

How It Started

I've always loved music. Unfortunately from a young age I learnt that I would never be a singer. So like many all I could do in public was listen to music produced by others, saving my voice for performances in the shower to a crowd of none.

My first job in this world that paid money was as a paper boy on my estate, when I was 11 years old. For getting up early (6:30am) every day of the year to deliver papers, except Christmas Day where I would get up even earlier due to the excitement of the day, I would be paid £7 a week. £8 after I asked for a pay increase. I got paid on the Saturday and once I had finished the round I was on the first bus to the nearest Woolworths (remember them) in Morpeth to buy two or three singles on CD.

I ended up with loads of CD's. I didn't want to throw them out so I came up with another use for them, DJing. Unfortunatly looking at the CD's now my music choice was rubbish back then. Five 'We Will Rock You', BahaMen 'Who Let The Dog's Out?' and The Corrs 'Breathless', were just some of them. It was a start. Over time I built my music collection. That's how it started.

Whilst at uni I became of the student unions stage services crew. This meant that during most club nights I would volunteer my time to set up the DJ equipment, clean smoke machines and run the lighting system. After a year I was offered the chance to DJ for an hour at the start of one of the club nights. I loved it!
